December blues
It's december!
That's right! It’s that time of the year again!!! When the days start getting shorter and shorter and colder and colder. And speaking of cold(s). I’ve been sick with the stomach bug for the past few days!!!! Hooray!!!!... Yeah, that made working on the game a little hard. But I'm a trooper! so I tried to get SOME work done. There's this one background that I want to look a very specific way in one of the new songs. Now there's obviously the easy way of just making it a gif but… That would suck. And I would hate that because I don’t want it to have some obvious loop point. I want it to look truly random! Now I’m sure that probably makes no sense and that I sound stupid right now. but you’ll see what I mean when the updates out!!!

Dude's eyes (continued)
So if you read the last blog post (I hope you did, it would be weird if you just skipped to the second one) You would remember me talking about the importance of the player having to be able to see dude’s glowing eyes in the dark because of the ever important "plot stuff". And while I am a stern believer that a video game’s story should be strictly told in (now this might surprise you) the actual game, rather than on the developers social media platforms. There is something I wanted to clarify. As a couple people have pointed out that there is a weird execption to the glowing eye rule. In weeknd 1, dude's eyes don't glow at all.
What could this mean, could there perhaps be some secret event between weeknds 1 and 2 that we didn't see that caused dude to-- Nope! I just made weeknd 1 before the shader that makes dude’s eyes glow existed. And I never went back and added the shader to the older levels when it was made during the development of weeknd 2. That's it! Theres no secret LOOOORE answer. I just didn’t ever go back and add the shader to dude in stars. So just, imagine that dude’s eyes are glowing. And that strad doesn’t say anything about it because he respects people who are different. Right on strad!

Hey there!
It's been a... crazy past few days! Not. I haven't done anything!! I've been sinking a lot of my time into other people's projects or personal ones so i haven't really had the time to work on free download, especially since a certain song is giving me such a kick in the pants right now. (specifically the area of the pants where your nards are kept)
I will say I think weeknd 5's first song is basically complete, other than some minor changes. That means Tyler can get into charting it and soon we're gonna have it done!! It sort of takes me back to weeknd 3's development, when I finished the first version of twinkle and i thought it was so pretty and cool sounding. I think if i could describe this song.. it scratches the same musical itch for me that twinkle does but in a different way. And i think it sounds better. So if you like twinkle maybe you should be excited for this one!

I get a kick out of hiding my voice in free download songs. This is in week 5 song 1. He's yelling "go!"
